Yes, the cue is straight. There are two very shallow grooves Sailor turned in the handle, so the original purchaser could practice keeping his hand in the same place each time. (I am the 2nd owner- I have had this cue about 10 years)matthew staton said:I start it off at $150!!!!!!!!! is the cue straight???

I'll need a higher bid than $150, but I will let it go for a reasonable price.
See Jazz, Matthew saved you the trouble of starting the lowball bid...

I believe I have an early sailor cue that has Burton Spain points, This cue is not stamped sailor but it has the distinctive sailor flare. The four points are veneered and in each point there is a inlaided wooden star. It has two shafts with pearlized reddish- pink joint collars. What is also unusual about this cue is that the butt sleeve and cap are about 4" long with the sailor flare. I have been meaning to call Sailor and ask about this cue. This cue is in excellent shape except two of the tips of the points are starting to fade with age. Anyone know about this cue?dmgwalsh said:Does anybody have a Sailor cue for sale. I'm new to this forum and I just got a digital camera and I am learning how to use it. As soon as I figure out how to post the pics I will. I paid a pretty penny for this cue and for the right price, I will let it go. I'm heading out right now play a tournament but I will post a.s.a.p.dmgwalsh said:Do you have a picture of it. I talk to him about once every week or two. He's not hooked up to the internet but I could send him a picture.
By the way, is your cue for sale?
