Sailor Of Racine Says GO FOR THE RUn

My Instructor is Sailor he is one of best pure shooters ever ( or was ) he is in his 70's now!! LOL But he has ,more Knowledge in one Finger than most will ever learn. One Lesson and my Game was 100% better. He also Builds cues ( very slowly ) But they Hit great and are collectibles around here. Mine was left at G/f's house and it was Lost I'm told of course now I cant find her or my cue LOL ( Live and Learn ). If anyone sees a "Sailor Cue" in The area of So Bend Indiana please look close at it mine is pictured here. Sailors Trade mark is a Flair on Butt.

Ty for taking time to read this if you are in Racine, Wi area and want Best instruction u can get ( IMHO ) look up Sailor!!

PS I think Ex G/F entrusted her sons to send my cue back but it never Happened I dont think she intended to "abscound" with it BYW I see Bob Runde all the Time gonna have him build a cue for me soon!! Ken Gibbs

Is this the same sailor that doesnt play for money, but used to have 100 ball runs in straight pool dialy.

I like your sax playing, but get a haircut.

P.S. - I've heard Mark Wilson rave about Sailor's knowledge, crediting him for helping him learn straight pool, and describing him as one of the most knowledgeable straight pool players in the world. I was told that, at one time, Sailor would not give lessons to anyone who couldn't run 50 balls, so the young MW lied about it just to get lessons. He said it must have been painfully obvious that he was incapable of running 50, but Sailor recognized his enthusiasm and gave him lessons anyway. Does he still have that 50 ball requirement (my high run is 45)????

i dont know of that requirement He likes to take someone who doesnt know all the wrong ways already ( like in my case ) I had to unlearn I felt Like I worked out a Gym after 2 hrs with sailor
 
How does one describe Sailor...

pool genius, a bit eccentric, who has made pool his life ...player, poolhall owner, cuemaker, teacher...who is giving back as much as he can to the game he loves so much.

Sailor Stellman

The Sailor is a great guy and can really play! Incidentally, he has gambled, and is best avoided. Gambling never really rang his bell, but those few times he did get down provided unfortunate circumstances for his opponents. For example, he and I never got down. I knew he really wasnt interested in gambling, and by the way, who needed him and his act?

Sorry, I'll try to post so nobody misunderstands. Didnt I say he was a great guy and a great player? His "act" was that he played too solid. What did you think I meant?
