Does anyone have a Samsara Bar Cue? What are your thoughts on this model?[/COLOR]

I have one. Beautiful cocobolo. The linen wrap is the slickest I've ever felt. Standard cocobolo joint protectors. Plays as solid as any cue. The butt is cored. I bought an extra shaft. No regrets. Normally I don't like to buy a cue sight-unseen, but Samsara is said to be one of the top three cuemakers.

I have a somewhat souped up version of the bar cue. I got one with nice cocobolo in the forarm and butt, with a nice curly maple wrapless handle. I got the Samsara diamond rings at the joint and the butt. I like my cue a great deal, and found Jim Stadum a pleasure to deal with. He let me be as specific as I liked with the design, gave me some suggestions, and then did EXACTLY what he said he would. The weight was what I requested to the 10th of an once. I had an existing Predator shaft for my previous Samsara. It had a Samsara joint ring (uniloc joint). I weighed this shaft and told him the weight, and he made it so that the shaft I ordered with the cue was the same exact weight, to preserve the balance. I didn't really need the Samsara shaft, as I was planning on using the Predator. I just got it for completeness sake. He upcharged me a little for the changes I described, but I thought it was totally reasonable.

GREAT cue, great value.
