Samsara break tip

What does everybody use to keep their tip scuffed? Normally I stay away from the tip pick, but it seemed to work fine on the samsara. This thing glazes like no tomorrow.

Are there any other hard leather tips that have a good for breaking with? Are there any that aren't laminated?

Tip tapper. Rolling it over surface gives the chalk something to grab to.

Ive seen these around but never tried one, I have the Kamui and with the amount that I get to play it works fine. For those that have tried the L4E tool can you comment on how it holds up, I assume the name itself means its guaranteed for life.
