Samson tips....????

I bought some for the same reason, price, used them for lathe practice and swapped out the tips on the cues that came with my table package for them. They aren’t high quality by any means, seamed more hard than med when I machined them, couple had dints on the edges, I haven’t played much myself with them but seamed better than what came on the cues.
In my opinion for house cues they are alright, but for a bit more money Kami Kaze sells way nicer tips, way better quality and better to deal with.

When trying to install, not one but two of these came apart. Work was done by a cuemaker with over 20yrs experience. When i notified the seller( "that guy in Florida") he got all defensive and said installer was at fault. Well, a different tip went on perfectly. Same lathe(&speed), glue, tool, etc. In follow-up emails it got a little heated and seller actually used more F-bombs than Joe Pesci in "Casino". Do yourself a favor and steer clear of JOE BARRINGER aka Cue Components. I was warned about even buying these and now i know why. His rant about all poolplayers being f-this and f-that was crazy. Dude is un-hinged.

Yeah I bought once from there, was a “seriously” moment, never again, like I commented, kamikaze is great to deal with, and tips are good, not that uneven layer dinted edges junk like the Samson’s, and don’t have to deal with a place who’s motto is the customer is never right they are all stupid and we don’t have time for anyone who doesn’t see it our way.
Just a read through the site was good for a laugh at the bipolar rants spewed about, only placed a order because was the only place I found that had a item I was after that had reasonable shipping to Canada, rest of the stuff I got including the tips were fluff to meet the $34 min order, and in the end they didn’t have the item I actually needed and shipped without saying anything about it, I only saw after when the charged amount was less on my credit card.
Yet on the site it says not to phone a bother them asking if stuff was in stock, that if it’s listed they had it, even days later I looked and the item was still listed in stock, but I’d be called the moron lol.

No problem Carlos, it’s a good quality product and even small sales to the little guy like me for personal and friends family use are handled in record time and out the door shipping anywhere fast.
Bought Samson tips, couple of them delaminated when installed. Would not recommend them, even if they play decent.
