Check out On Cue Billiards in Mesa, CA. Mesa is in the San Diego area. I was there for a Memorial 9ball tournament once. The room had all Gold Crowns, that I remember. They might have something going on. I think they might even have a website but I'm not sure.

On Cue on Monday's at 8pm (Free practice starts at 7:30, and sign up early because field fills up most days), 9-ball race to 3, double elimination, handicapped A,B,C, $15, field limited to 32 players, $50 added usually, 1st place usually pays $230.
College Billiards on Tuesday's, same format as above but usually less players. No $ added. $150 first place guaranteed I think.
That should take care of both days.
