Did anyone happen to look closely at the stroke Sanchez-Ruiz used to win the Predator 8-Ball tournament in San Juan? It appeared to be a stun stroke. One of the announcers (Robles) even alluded to his stroke being more of a stun.

players have different types of strokes for different types of shots. the punch shot (or stun stroke if u will) has long been regarded as a good pressure stroke that doesn't break down as easily. The drawback is you get less action and can't really play soft shots with it but in 8b you can choose a pattern that is just stops and stuns and this stroke is ideal for that.
But you can bet your bottom dollar FSR can use whatever F'n stroke he feels like.

If you are talking about the very final shot of the tournament, perhaps so.
Otherwise, I think we can safely assume that FSR used all the strokes in winning the event. We can similarly assume that nobody in the history of pro pool has ever won a tournament using a single stroke.
I'm sure that when draw was needed, he used draw, when stun was needed, he used stun and when follow was needed, he used follow. A few shots offer more than one choice, so perhaps you're suggesting that FSR has a bias toward stun on such shots, and that may be so.

Are you referring to the spin on the cue ball or the timing of the arm motion? People seem to be divided on what you mean.
