JMHO Eddie, but I'd spread it out a little more...especially when you let Al play. Seems kinda top heavy. Maybe 400/300/200/100/50, and pay 8 places. Since you also run calcuttas, this would, I think, bring in more players. However congrats on the nice turnout, and I hope they keep coming...in droves!

On another note, thanks for all your help and support with the pool school two weeks ago. You helped make it a big success, and I'm really looking forward to our next one (Feb.?). How did things turn out with Pat Fleming?

Hi Scott! Nice to hear from you.

Paying out the top 4 places on my Tuesday Tournaments has been keeping the people happy as well as encouraged to go all the way for the bigger payouts. Al has gone 2 and out a few times in the tournament. Last Tuesday Matt Krah (great player) didn't make out too well. The week before, a -4 (second lowest rank) took it down. I also have a Thursday Night tourney that Open and Pro players are NOT permitted to play in. Both nights are handicapped to the point that the person playing well that day at their spot wins. (As any handicap system should.) Don't expect to play bad and win on Tuesday or Thursday. LOL

It was my pleasure having your Traveling College of Billiard Knowledge at Sandcastle Billiards. I've recently been approached by a couple people who were interested but skeptical. I erased their doubts and told them that I give my full support to your course and have complete faith in your teaching methodology. (Whatever my opinion is worth.) They will probably benefit from your teachings next time you're at Sandcastle.

Pat Fleming and I hit things off in respect to one another as gentlemen but unfortunately, the only thing that would be an obsticle for him is the hour drive he'd have to the Sandcastle and back late at night after events. It would be too much on him to do that 5-6 times a week. I can completely understand that. We see no problem joining one another sometime in the future in a billiards endeavor.

Sandcastle Billiards Newbie

Sandman,

Justed wanted to thank you for your friendly and warm welcome yesterday. It was my first time there and won't be my last!

This is a real poolroom with what seemed to be quality players that truly enjoy the game. I am looking forward to joining in some of your tournaments and new BCA/USAPL league play.

Everyone was friendly and really made a point of saying hello and talking "pool". I wish Sandman continued success. I appreciate his passion, professionalism and respect for his customers and the game.

I strongly encourage others to come out to support Sandcastle Billiards in Edison, NJ and enjoy quality play and competition. There should only be more places like this for us to enjoy.

Thanks again,
Crazycueman
