It was reported yesterday that one of the victims at the Sandusky trial said he was repeatedly molested by Sandusky in the basement of his (Sandusky's) home and that he tried to avoid the unpleasantness by hiding under a pool table.

What a mess of a human being. :frown:

Still stings that old JoPa had to go down the way he did but I suppose he needed to wonder a little louder why after such an allegation, Sandusky continued to come to work.

Sorry if this leans heavy toward npr.

If the verdict turns out as I hope, Sandusky will find himself wishing for a pool table to hide under. ;)

Hey sorry to kill the sensitivity of the subject...but there is something about hiding under a pool table.
When my X and I would go at it (loud exchange of words) my Black Lab would run to the basement and hide under my Gandy Hustler.

Wasn't one of the contentions that JoPa did know, or was that ever resolved. I think the general consensus was that since these episodes strung out over years and were known, there were assumptions that JoPa had to know. I had always heard from the media that JoPa's life on campus was sheltered. After everything broke it became clear how insulated JoPa was. Personally I think this kind of insulation and god-like idolatry allows a person to pick and choose what he wants to hear, or what those around him want him to hear.
