Somebody clue me in on the matches held on the TV Table in the back with all the cameras - who 'owns' those matches? I still haven't seen the Blomdahl-Caudron final from last year. It's all nicely filmed but I haven't seen any yet.

The Caudron-Blomdahl final was in 2006 not 2007 and you may watch it in youtube.

Regards,

Timur

This battle was impressive to all who watched. Sayginer opened with a lot of energy and Caudron answered. At the half way point, both players took a brief break...Sayginer 25 and Caudron 22. They were in the bottom of the 5th inning!!!!!! Both men were averaging better than 5!

Caudron had a very strong middle game and took the lead. Sayginer responded with a great effort in the end to come within a point of victory. His last angle came up short and the room let out a collective gasp.

By my reconning, Sayginer conducted himself like a champion. After the finals, he ribbed Caudron during a wonderful artistic billiards demonstration; Frederic was chosen to be his volunteer.

Thanks for the information.I hope this match was filmed completely.

As a side note,The CaromTv site has issued 'Blomdahl-Martin Horn' match from 2008 Sang Lee in VOD format.
The score is 50-48 in favour of Blomdahl.
Not a classic but still a nice match.

Timur
