Sardo Tight Rack

I was at a tourn. and Lou himself was there. I watched him "set" one and couldn't believe how hard he was banging on the balls to set it up.
Had I knew this was how that rack worked I would have never bought it.

Delta Does Makes A Nice Rack.

I have to disagree with the opinions about the Delta pool racks.
2 years ago I gave Tommy Hill a Delta Elite Rack for his bday.

It is a nice rack and I wanted to get him the best but know what?
The Magic Rack does a much better job of clustering OB tighter.

Yup, the Delta Elite is a top notch rack but the little thin templates
do a superior job of functional performance when it comes to racks.

I thought the Sardo rack was used in tournaments because Sardo partially sponsored the tournament.
Didn’t the Sardo brothers sponsor pro pool events. Anybody that sponsors the pro’s, even though it required the balls being racked by a large contraption, is OK in my book. Thanks Sardo.

I must have missed the opinions on the Delta rack, I thought good things were said. I know I want one.

I think it is the best triangle rack available. Some people are bothered by the noise of balls clanking in the metal. I certainly am. Amazingly, if the sound dampers are installed, which I think are just leather or cork, the rack sounds like a wooden rack.

I always thought the aluminum against the pool balls would be loud. I was not aware there are leather inserts available.

The leather inserts go on the outside, but it does dampen the tink quite a bit.

I was on vacation in Europe a last year and played some at a REAL nice pool room in Kracow Poland. The tables were tapped, nobody used a rack, just rolled the balls into the divots for a surprising tight rack. Seeing more and more world class players coming out of unexpected places.

The leather works great and two of the inserts have custom engraving
