You can check my garbage can. Seriously, why would you want one?

Just purchase a brand new wooden rack made of oak. Less parts to wear out and break. No gizmos here.

Speak in American cash please

I have 3 of them, but what the heck is 100 quid in American? Who pays shipping?

Ohw...You're just pissed because you found out it doesn't really come with the "lovely Kelly Ann Judd and her perfect rack everytime". :D

Yep! If it came with boobs, it would be able to guarantee ONE perfect rack.

Is the priciple behind it similar to tapping the balls while in the rack to create indentations in the felt?

Yes. They supply you with a table "trainer".
Drop some water on the cloth, bang away after that.

Actually, if that were the principle, it'd be a decent product. In reality, the table needs to be "trained". This means someone needs to hammer (yes, I said hammer) LARGE indentations in the table. The indentations are so severe that after the WPBA had an event in my local room, we were able to rack the balls with our hands (perfect, every time). I was there when they did it. They hit the table so hard, you're surpised the slate isn't cracked. On top of that, they were racking with the 9 on the spot so it made it nearly IMPOSSIBLE for us to rack normally and made slow-rolling balls through the rack area move around like a knuckle-ball. The actual product is the hammer they use. That rack is merely a guise.

I bet the one-pocket players were thrilled about those table craters.

Dude, they wouldn't go near those tables! The Sardo rack is a nightmare. I know there are a lot of people out there that really wished there was an easy way to rack the balls but unfortunately, there simply isn't. If this is the solution, it must be said that there is a huge compromise.

Actually, that is the principle. The complaint about "hammering" and craters isn't new. I overheard one of the company owners complaining once that he keeps telling "them" not to hammer the balls or slam down the rack. The Sardo probably works fine for tournaments and home tables but not for pool halls or in the hands of people who don't know how to use it ( o'course if they're smart enough to use it right their smart enough to use a regular rack)

They used them at HardTimes Bellflower for all the one-pocket tournaments for a very long time. It made the racking very simple and gave a good rack everytime. All the times I played there and all the players I have played and never once did I ever hear mention of a table crater affecting a shot. Since I slow roll balls as much as anyone I think I would have noticed if it affected a shot but I never noticed it even once.

The tables in the action room are almost perfect tables so if it was having a noticeable affect I am sure I would have heard a lot of complaining.

Terry, have you seen a table get "trained"?

Nope, never even seen the thing used except on TV. Just seems to me if the table is like new ( like in tournaments) and level then there is no reason to hammer or to slam the sardo down. Apparently one of the company owners agrees with that.
I have seen people beat the balls into the table when using a regular rack but that was because it was a very worn table and the rack would roll off in all directions.

I heard that if you wet the felt a little and then brushed it several times, balls should rack a little more easily - kinda like a new cloth does.

I never tried it though.
