Sarin and Everest tips.

I bought a Poison cue about a month ago that has a Sarin tip on it. I am still up in the air as to if I like it or not. I'm thinking of changing it out, but not sure what tip I want. My question is, are Everest tips the same as the Sarin tip? They both have the "red" zone.

Essentially, same tip.
 
I have just started playing again after 17 years off and I am not used to a tip that hard. It may be because I am not chalking every shot (bad habit I have to break)

When I started playing agian 3 months ago I had a Mcdermott and I had the local pool hall put a new tip on it. I just asked him for a medium tip. He put a new med tip on for $7.50. It worked great. Now I'm debating on having a $7.50 tip put on my Poison, or working out my issues with the Sarin tip.
