I've come to one unwavering conclusion about pool players (at least in Savannah). THEY ARE LAZY POS's! We had to cancel the shot contest here yesterday, due to lack of interest. Exactly one person showed up. I had several people that actually put their names on the sign-up sheet, and they couldn't bother to show up either. I personally asked every random person and pool player I could get my hands on. I asked the hall owner to promote it to all the league players, but I'm doubtful that much was done on that front. I love the idea of the shot contest. Normally, I believe it would attract a few extra people to the game, but not here. I don't plan to try this again, in this community. Sorry for the bad news.
