Savers on the WPBA circuit????

There is an interesting poll/thread on the Main Forum about "savers". I think most of us would appreciate your opinion on the matter. Are you aware of any WPBA regulations on the subject? Good luck in Peoria, we are hoping for an "all-AZB final".

Hi there!

I have never heard of any "savers" taking place in the WPBA events. No one has ever approached me about it...but then again, I have yet to play in the finals of an event. There is no rule about in the WPBA handbook that I am aware of...but I don't know if there is a need for one.

As for my opinion...well, I don't necessarily see anything wrong with it for other people...but for myself, I believe that players should just take their chances and play their hearts out to win. I can't imagine that I would agree to it if I was approached by another player about it.
