We all love our cues. I'm wondering how many people here name theirs and the story behind choosing that name.

My Joss' name is Elmo, as in Tickle Me Elmo. I have a weak break, and a guy I played once said "wow, that tickled".

I don't name my cues but I have a custom Jacoby too and love it.
 
I usually do ...

I had a Huebler for 19 years that was 'Sara'.
I had her longer than any of my 3 wives.
 
The first cue I ever bought was this heavy red McDermott. When I bought a new cue, I put a phenolic tip on 'big red' and made it my break cue. First time a buddy of mine used it he named it 'el cañón'. The name has stuck since.

My jump cue is named "Ball in Hand".

My buddy and I used to sometimes call our cues 'dedit'. As in the sound one make when making a withdrawal from an ATM :D

Well i call mine sorta like your username. Mine is sweet ass kenny. I even have a poem to go with it.It goes like this. You may have played with many, but you have never played with any, like sweet ass kenny.hahahaha :D And you know what that looks like dont you marissa.hahahahaha :p

Some of my Friends may believe my cue is either named GODDAMNIT or JEEZZUS CHRIST but I really don’t name possessions.

SM I like the Scarface reference.
 
I've never named my cues, & I might've lost my game, but I've still got a heIIuva break. :D
 
This thread title reminded me of Tony Montana... :cool:

I call my Scruggs "Otso" which is a Finnish word for "bear". The name "otso" comes from the Scruggs logo. It has letters TS and on both sides a zero "0" to mark the year -00 (2000). So it's basically reads: 0 TS 0 :p

It should... those were his last words in the film, Scarface. I love movies so I'm often spouting off lines.

Actually, the last lines were something about his still being alive and not being able to be killed after being shot numerous times. Just after that was when the assassin in sunglasses blasted him from behind with a double-barreled shotgun. The "little friend" line is still one of the more popular quotes as far as movies go.
