SBE is on.

Thanks for the info. I need to find a way to go for at least one day.

One day plan, there are two shafts I've wanted to test drive for two years now. Plus other shopping too.

People better be ready to bet it up.

I will be playing sets for 100 to 500 until I cannot stand....like most years.

It's going to be one day longer to accommodate the TAP league schedule

I've never been & am not sure what to expect. I'm guessing there will be new products & possibly some deals, but are the deals worth traveling for? Are they closer to "$25 off a $900 cue" or "I got an Exceed cue for $10?"

Lots of interesting things to look at. Lots of cues to try. By sunday some cue makers may be willing to make a deal. Top makers will go fast. Dunkel usually sells out by saturday.. I've seen some makers out of inventory by friday.. They keep some on display to show their work and take orders. Capone also sells quickly.
I saw a cue for $240,000. He didn't have a matching break stick so I passed on it. I also saw a cue with the entire butt make from one solid piece of ivory.
Lots of good amature matches to watch for free. Go into the gambling arena. Some crazy gambling going in there.

I’ll get there for the day even though I don’t play much these days. I have great memories of the expo but most of them were at the old valley forge convention center. You don’t know what you got until it’s gone.

If you're willing to put in the time and shoe-leather, there are deals to be had, especially on the last day. Only problem if you wait till then, what you were interested in was probably sold. You'll never see as many cues and all the other associated equipment in one place as you will there. If you like action, there'll be plenty of that till late into the night. Many thousands of people attend. Depending on how far you have to travel is going to be a factor in how much of a deal you'll end up with. There is a fee to enter, probably around $40 daily unless you've entered an event.

Im there. Donating to the Am-Open and the other players in the pit as always.
