Ya

Thats David Wasserman, I doubt very highly he would have backed out. However, on another cue they have had in the past I have talked to them over the phone and I do believe they have the cues. There feedback is very high also. Mabye this couple is highjacking accounts. I tend to doubt it as the owner of the account would get an e-mail as to the auction running. Weird. E-mail David and ask him whats up. Thanx Aaron

It is a scam. Ther have been other posts in this section about the bogus 2nd chance offers and other stuff the scum bags try to pull.

Tell them that you are bidding on the cue for a freind that likes to play with that cue. He gave you a check for $5000 to spend. You will send the check and please take out the money to cover the cue and shipping and to send the balance with the cue.

That is another scam that they pull. Naturally the check is bogus. What happens in the last case is the bank cashes your check. You think that because you have the money the check is good so you send your cue and cash to the scammer. A few weeks later you see that your bank account is short because the bank took the money from your account to cover the bad check. You lost your cue and money.

Easy to check. :~)

This is easy to check, send it to Spoof@ebay.com and they will verify it for you. Or contact the original seller on ebay, via ebay or email.

I was bidding on a Huebler US Open and got a second chance purchase offer. But the email from the second chance didn't match the original seller on ebay. I had asked for some extra pictures during the auction and checked with the seller after getting the fake second chance offer.

Now, I always email the seller for extra info and maybe a picture during the auction, to follow up after sale just incase this happens on another item.

You can with some email have a fake return email address. This is easy to check with looking at the email properties.

Bugs. ;)
