Played with my newly made Schmelke today. 29.5" shaft 13.25mm / 29.5" shaft. Bottom cue. I really liked it. Felt like I played with it for years. It's a great value.

Chuck....Your Schmelke is outstanding. I started out ordering the white/green cue to be wrapless. Added the wrap in mid stream.
I really like the purple heart without a wrap so I might oder one.

They start at $105 with a wood/wood joint and no wrap. You would buy that or add to it. Log onto SchmelkeCues http://schmelkecue.com/billiard-cues/r010-4-prong-purpleheart.html and build one. The two I'm showing ran about $225 and $250.

How do you like the Schmelke shaft and did they charge you extra for the different bumper on the purple heart ?

The Schmelke shafts are fine.The 1.5" butt caps were extra.
The cues were suppose to be bumperless but were not. I put those bumpers on. I think they look good. Was not sure. Bumpers are from Seyberts or Muellers...not sure.

I like the beveled and flat Meucci/Players style bumper over the Scmelke stock bumper . Schmelke sells those type bumpers so i don't think they would have a problem putting them on a cue . They are like 2 dollars . I hate those McDermott style bulbous bumpers.
