Danny came to the table with an opportunity to run out. He ended up missing a very makeable ball. John came back and made a good out.

21-13 John

John broke and missed a shot. Danny came to the table and struggled through the rest of the rack. He was able to finish it though.

Thanks BGP, trying to show the viewers how exciting these live matches are!

21-14 John

There was a small safety battle in this rack. Danny ended up missing a fairly easy safe. John took advantage and ran out. John is playing pretty well but Danny doesn't look like the same player we were watching the previous 2 nights.

22-14 John

John just came with a very nice break and run. He started it with a super difficult multiple rail position shot through traffic.

23-14 John

Gave him some for you BPG. He definately deserves it.

Christ, I'm not even watching the match and I'm excited!

A little extra for you

Thx Satman.

We had another small safety battle in the middle of a very tough layout. John locked up Danny with a ridiculous safety. Danny gave it a good shot but fouled. John proceeded to run a very difficult rack breaking 2 clusters in the process.

24-15 John

John broke and played a decent safety. Danny came with a very good shot and kicked in the 1 ball. He made a routine runout after that.

24-16 Danny

Is this winner break? if so has anyone strung any rack tegeather?

It is winner breaks, John ran a few early on but nobody has really strung a significant number of racks.

Danny can't catch a break, he jumped the ball off the table on his break. John got ball in hand and ran an easy layout.

25-16 John

Ok, we have a small situation on Danny's break. He made a very nice break, the 10 laid up in a corner and a ball came around and kicked it in. The rule is to spot the 10. Danny thought he won and started grabbing balls. John tried to yell out and warn him but he grabbed balls so it was a foul. John is now shooting.

This mistake by Harriman is a tell, maybe an excuse too not win but he's weakening. If there was a weak spot in this matchup showing who was/is the one who'll win it..that line in the sand was here. It almost feels like Danny was countin the win during the one pocket match, and now he is/was surprised/amazed he lost and now doesn't have enough mental steam to win it. John on the other hand, being a US Open winner, we all know what it takes to win that event. No different than winning the BCA Open 8-ball event with 1,000 players, one hell of a strong mind, the crack in the wall is widening, Danny can't win because he's worn down. To Cover MA from the flamers, this is MHO only, but I've gone head to head many times with this man in match play, my observation is from the trenches.

Danny is definitely showing some frustration. John just won another small safety battle and ran out. The Danny we saw playing last night was solid and emotionless. The 1 pocket loss definitely had an effect on him.

John 26-16

Danny fought through a couple of safeties and won another game. Nothing major happened this rack. John is playing like a man who is ahead by 9 games.

26-17 John

Danny isn't getting good results off the break. He made a ball but left himself with a tough combination. He made the combo but lost the cue ball go and scratched. John ran an easy rack with ball in hand. Danny looks like he's ready to go home.

27-17 John

John tried to spear the 7 into the corner. It rattled and shot directly into the side pocket after bouncing the 8 into perfect position. John can do no wrong.
