Schon cue

I have a cue that I would like to have the wrapped area smaller, can the wrap be taken off and the area turned down and a linen or leather wrap be reinstalled. Just wondering, it is a little too big compared to my other Schon, and I would like them to be about the same size.

Sure, what you're asking can be done but will the finished product justify the expense? Consider also, that once someone other than Schon works on the cue, Schon will never touch the cue again. They're funny that way.

Two methods immediately come to mind. You could re-taper the cue from the joint back, giving you a constant taper or you could re-taper from the top of the wrap back resulting in a compound taper. The first method requires a complete re-finish of the whole cue, the second method requires refinish of just the butt-sleeve. Depending on how much you want to take off, you may lose the Schon logo that's on the butt cap.

I see the final cost being in the $100/200 range.
