Sure, what you're asking can be done but will the finished product justify the expense? Consider also, that once someone other than Schon works on the cue, Schon will never touch the cue again. They're funny that way.
Two methods immediately come to mind. You could re-taper the cue from the joint back, giving you a constant taper or you could re-taper from the top of the wrap back resulting in a compound taper. The first method requires a complete re-finish of the whole cue, the second method requires refinish of just the butt-sleeve. Depending on how much you want to take off, you may lose the Schon logo that's on the butt cap.
