I am looking at getting a Schon CX48 cue. Does anyone know how "limited" these cues are in terms of production numbers. I know that they are exclusive to "cuestix" dealers, but are there only 100 of each model made etc. Also are the CX series made any different (cheaper) than other Schon lines? Any help would be appreciated!

About the only difference between each model is how made have been made. You can go to www.schoncues.com to see all the different production, limited, & elite models. You can also shoot an e-mail to Evan & he can probably give you an idea as to how many are out there. The Limited (LTD) cues are a run of 12, Elites are a run of 7.

Yep all Schon cues are built to the same standards. They all hit REAL good from my experience and the CX line is a little lower in price, albeit slightly more common. I've never seen 2 of the same Schons in the pool hall at the same time though.

There's no limit on the production number. Made the same as any other Schons.

They may be somewhat limited because I couldn't find a CX50 anywhere.

If you like Schon cues take a look at CX-52 & CX-54 are the nutz..lol
I was just about to pull the trigger on the CX-54 but I came across a sweet deal on a JossWest.

I have a CX-06 that's been discontinued for a while now. Had a black leather lizard print wrap put on by Jim Lee. It's a really good looking cue. Anyone know if they're worth more if they're discontinued? Any idea how much a CX-06 in mint condition is worth?

JMurphy & Schonshooter, it appears each of you have avatars of the same lady. Who is she?
