Hey Guys

I would like to find out about the value of a super rare Schon built by Bob Runde. This is not a catalog cue and is a true 1/1. This cue was built during the R sereis run.

If somebody could PM me, I will be happy to disclose what I know about the cue and how it is constructed. I would like to hear estimates of value from an expert.

Why not just send about five photo's to Bob Runde himself and ask him about what the price would be today if he made something very similiar ? Mr. Runde would be the best expert I could think of in this situation.
 
Great question

Bob does not need to see pictures of the cue because he remembers building the cue back in the 80's to the point he can name off the veneer colors in order. No doubt that he does not remember the cue.

The cue is so unique that it may or may not warrant the asking price. What Bob can build it for today is not a good estimate of price or worth of the cue. The market determines that number.

One other facor, it is a piece of Schon history but does not fall under or in a series of catalog cues.

Thanks for the responce, let me clear some things up for you.

I am not selling the cue. I may be looking to purchase it. I may ask the owner if he would like me to list it here on AZB as well.

When the cue gets back from a refinish and I can get over to see it, I will try to get several pictures of the cue and post them here. This may take a while.

I guess an expert would be somebody that has bought and sold several old Schons over the years and has a good feel for what is considered more collectable than others.
