I know nothing about Schon cues. Looking to purchase this, but want to be sure it is a value. If anyone can help it is greatly appreciated, it comes with 4 shafts. I was told it is one of a kind, but I don't believe it is. Points look recut and rounded aka CnC. I appologize for the picture I had to takes them with my cell phone.
Thanks,
Dom

That is a SP-47 circa 1990's.

I have the *SP-49 (3 above it). I paid about $600 three years ago with 2 shafts. IMO, with the slumping cue market, I'd say it's worth $500-$650. The condition of the shafts would effect the value as well.

A true collector might give you a closer value though. Good luck, great cue!

Well Dom it sure looks like a SP-47.As far as value with four shafts a lot would depend on condition.I found a picture on the www.Palmercollector.com to verify it as a SP-47.Hope this helps and good luck-JR:)

Hello Dom.

For a production cue Schons have a very sweet hit to me one of the best hits you will get in a production cue ... It is definalty not one of a kind as you can clearly see ... Schon will tell you quick that they are not truly a production cue, Evan Clarke has a small crew that make these and they claim to be custom cues makers. Most people prefer the older Runde Schons and this looks to be one of Schons made while Runde was in charge. If you can get it at a good price it would definatly be worth the pick up these cues are getting harder and harder to find the schons with the stitched rings have become very collectable.
