Schon Logo Question

First let me say that I did search, but came up dry. I'm old and wounded so please give me a break, lol.

I'm try to figure out the approximate year this one was made, and the significance of the green logo? I've seen black, white, gold and green but wonder what the different colors represent. My guess is that it was built between 1988-1992..... it has the original unmarked shafts so it's earlier than 1993. I assume it's Runde made due to the sharp inlays, but it does have CNC points. I believe Bob did do some CNC points at one time.

I don't believe Schon ever made a green logo. It's been a practice to rub a crayon over faded logos to make them stand out and possibly someone rubbed a green crayon on the logo.
I can't help you out about the cue itself but it's a good looking Schon.

It's probably just dirty, not actually green. They did some gold and primarily black

I know Evan used crayon to color in logos at times, so it could be the case here that someone colored it in. I think your guess on the range, 88-92 is probably accurate, but I'm no expert. And yes, Schon made cues with CNC points while Bob was there, plenty of them, and Evan made sharp pointed cues while at Schon as well, but they're rare. I've talked to Evan and Bob via mail to nail down the year a cue was made, and from my experience, I would say that it's highly likely they wouldn't come any closer than your range.

Thank you for pointing that out about the shafts being unmarked. As I was also told, they didn't start adding the logo 'till' 93.

I had someone literally borderline attack me how I was sure my shafts were original to my Schön cue. At the time, I didn't know the info but wish I did to throw it in his face!
