Brand new R-Series shaft...ok ok, I'm lying.;) What did you think you were going to get for $50 shipped?!?

I do have a R-Series stitch ring shaft for $50 shipped however. It measures a touch under 28.5 inches. It weighs 3.08oz. It measures around 10.5mm at the bottom of the ferrule. Flat faced 5/16x14. It rolls good...maybe a small taper roll. Maybe be used for a snooker cue, for a kid, or maybe for parts. If you have any questions please ask, but I do not know how much more you need to know about a vintage R-series $50 shaft!

Asking $200, but will take $50 shipped to US!!!:D

Also have these two nicer R-series shafts if someone wants a great deal on 2 or 3 shafts.

My question is will it fit on other 5/16x14 joints? Or just a schon 5/16x14?

I have a joss and I would consider this on that cue, if it fit. I remember schon shafts not working with other 5/16x14 pins.

Joss has the smallest pilot out of all 5/16x14 shafts on the market that I have seen. This shaft will have to be modified by cuemaker to be able to fit Joss butt

I'm not referring to the pilot. (this one is flat faced so that wouldn't be an issue).

I'm asking if that was originally a schon shaft, or an aftermarket. Only because a schon shaft will only fit a schon butt. A joss shaft will fit everything.

I tried screwing on my friend's runde schon shaft on my joss and it didn't take. It wouldn't even tighten down after the first thread.

Sorry to jack the thread, but i typically enjoy playing with small tipped shafts. My current player is 11.5mm, and i wouldn't mind trying a 10.5mm (my cue guy calls it the Chinese taper, because a lot of us chicago chinatown folk use it). I would be very interested if I was certain it would fit :-)

This was an original Schon shaft. I do not have a Joss laying around, but will try and check on it.

I finally was able to check, and this shaft didn't screw on a Joss butt completely.
