Schon R10 back from Refinish at Proficient Billiards

I can't recommend Proficient Billiards enough, they did an absolutely amazing job on my beat up and warped R10. Full refinish and replaced the handle and wrap. They replaced the rubber bumper as that simply disintegrated during removal. The butt cap is still original and has a couple tiny scratches. Scot told me they havn't had an R10 there before and this is a very early cue and super rare, especially with green veneers.

Enjoy the before and after photos. I also have a new maple stitch ring shaft coming from Bob R. that should be here in a month or two, along with a Kielwood shaft that I got from him last year. I'm thrilled with the results.

Great work by the Proficient team! Still breathing life into "dead" cues since the mid 90's...well done sir.

I didn’t realize they made 4 veneer R10s. I only remember seeing 3 veneers until this one. Very nice cue! How long did the work take?

I own a 60” even split R10 in black/red with a yellow micarta ferrule.

They had the cue less than 2 weeks start to finish. I live close so I drove it there and picked it up in person.

This is great to read because we don’t hear enough good news stories about cue refinishing…..Bravo to Scott.

I had Scott refinish one of my cues recently. It was far superior to the finish the cue maker put on it. If you’re considering a refinish Scott is the man.

Beautiful ebony stitched ring Schon with beautiful, stacked veneers...doesn't get any better.

Came out great. Every refinish I've ever seen from them was always perfect.
