Schon R2 - what's it worth?

I am thinking of selling my Schon R2. I believe it is a late 80's or early 90's. Superb condition. 4 Sharp points of tan, green & black. Green spotted Irish linen wrap. It has 4 silver (?) rings, one below the butt cap, 2nd above the wrap, 3rd at joint and 4th on matching shaft. Rolls dead straight. Any ideas on it's worth? Thanks guys!
 
Like $150.00 shipped, I'll take it ;-) ....no seriously prob in the 6-700 dollar range but I am not well versed on older schons. Great cues though
 
Well, doggone - just got a PM from a nice person informing me about the forum rule agains asking what something is worth. What's with that?? :eek: Nevertheless, sorry for the infraction. I guess I over read that. Now, how do I remove this posting?

Hello Oldwestside. I replied to your email with pics. Have also looked high and low on how to remove this posting. Not my intent to break any rules. I plan on selling it if I can figure out a fair price so, hope everyone forgives this Newbie.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, there r many here who spend way too much time playing soap opera style games policing forums and what not, amazing how someone can be filled with so much boredom to do so but maybe just edit your original post and state that it is in fact for sale and u r seeking offers because u don't really know the value and any input would be appreciated...regards.

The penalty is you must give up your Schon cue.

Thanks for the link! I sent pictures to Schon Cue and their response was an R2 but according to this link, it definitely looks way more like an R6 with the upgraded silver/nickel rings. I appreciate all the response and am open to offers if anyone is interested.
 
not trying to be a "soap opera type policeman" but you may also be interested to know that this forum also has a rule about bumping no more than once every 48 hours so as to be fair to all others who are trying to buy/sell on here.

ongoing dialogue over the item being sold (or as in this case, being considered to sell) is also looked at as bumping the thread. That sort of discussion can be done via pm.

the best way to handle this is to post about it on the main forum and, in a perfect world, add pics. The people there can help you to establish what the fair value is.

then come on wanted/for sale and sell it.

btw, old schon r-series cues in nice shape are *always* in demand.
