I have for sale a Schon R6. It is all original but is in EXCELLENT condition for its age. Has been very well taken care of and has been kept in an O'Neil hard case for most of its life. This cue is approximately 26-30 years old. MOST SCHON CUES FROM THIS SERIES DO HAVE DASHED RINGS, HOWEVER THE NICKEL SILVER RINGS WERE A CUSTOM OPTION. This is a Runde era cue. Points are razor sharp and beautiful. Wrap has absolutely no imperfections and feels amazing in hand. This cue rolls together straight, and apart. The Silver rings in the collar of the shaft seems to have corroded a bit over time, as can be seen in the pictures. The pictures speak for themselves. $1000 SHIPPED. I am in no rush to sell.

I would prefer to make a local transaction, but I will ship this cue. I am located in San Antonio, Texas.

I will set up the sale to happen via PayPal on EBAY.

Hey there fellow Texan! Nice cue but the price is a bit out there. Its not really a custom and its 30 years old. I think it is worth about half of what u are asking. Hope you find a buyer.

OK, thanks for the input. It is not a custom cue, but the silver ring option instead of the stitched collar was a custom option. I priced it so because I love old Schons and that is what it is worth to ME.

All my old 82 -85 R series had white with green spec wrap I had R6-7-8-12-14 and the R16 had black leather wrap they had stitch rings too.

schon

Nice cue it was Bob working by himself. Thats definitely a custom cue. the stitch ring being more sought after is a mystery. But in the cue world theres lots of mysteries. Greg

If this is all original shouldn't the ferrule be Micarta?I had an 86 I bought new with Micarta ferrules.

I have seen the old R series come with two different types of micarta (the dark yellow and the lighter version) or ivory ferrules. My R12 came with ivory. My S came with micarta. Must have just been buyers preference.

Still a nice cue regardless and they make excellent players. GLWS

What is the weight of the butt? Can you please provide some more clean photos of the rings?

Would you ship this Cue to Athens/Greece?

Please PM me if you're interested.
