curious as to what pre marked means .... obviously not stamped as schon but are the "factory seconds" slightly under the schon standard?

Early Schon shafts did not carry the Schon name on the shafts. There is detail of length
of ferrule, pilot width and length and black sealer on the pilot's that are consistent through out
the time which makes it more likely than not, they are an "original Schon shaft"

It also helps that through the early years, Bob Runde lent his knowledge while he was still
at Schon.

all shafts in this post are from Schon, these are not factory seconds.
