Hi Guys,

Here's a beautiful solid playing Schon SP with a Radial Pin: Asking $GONE shipped

Butt weight in at 14.83oz with Radial pin, phenolic collar and newly installed real lizard wrap.
Orginal shaft is 3.89oz with 13mm Hard Molavia installed.

Ivory Inlay, Short Ivory Points, Amboyna Burl with 10 Points.

Cue was brand new and test hit only but has some minor blemish on the collar in the butt.
Straight together and apart.

No Idea, was told everything is original...I would have rather they put on an ivory joint. Although he joint style produces a very solid hit that you expect from Schon cue.

Duc.

Did schon make the joint? I've never seen a half joint and radial pin on a schon...

A beauty of a Schon SP (Amboyna burl, Ivory and black leather)

Hy Cuemaster98,
I allready saw 2 other exemplary of exact the same cue. But both were Ltd's!
I am 100% sure because I wanted to buy one 3 years ago from www.CUEADDlCTS.com but I came too late. The other one was on a picture of a Schon collection. Both Ltd. Schon's had the same SS joint type with a piloted 5/16 x 14 joint, as usual. So I was sure that the preowner of your cue, removed the entire SS joint and installed a Radial pin! But I was lucky that Sean of the Cueaddicts warned me just right in time, tnot anticipate with my thougts! He had such good arguments, that I've corrigate immediately my first version of this Edit! That your cue has a radial pin could explain why it is a 'SP'ecial Schon and not a 'Ltd' ! Please accept my excuses!
GLWS and kind regards, al-capool

The one we had a while back was a Ltd. Same design though.

I wouldn't be so quick to rule out the Radial pin joint.....they've done them before, just not very much at all.

Also, if the cue was a 'mod' with the steel sleeve removed and reworked, then the butt would be 1" shorter than standard (unless they then added the 1" back with a new handle....which would be a ton of work and expense). Doesn't appear to be the case at all here with Duc's cue. You can clearly see that there is an extra 1" length in the top part of the forearm, so it appears to have been made this way.

Cue looks origional

Evan uses that setup. Not a lot. It may have been a special order for a wholesaler and that made it a SP.
Nick :)
