schon tip

My Schon needs the tip replaced, what is the closest to the original that came on it? I know Schon uses there own brand, but what out there is close to it?

I thought the factory schon tip was some what close to a water buffalo, in any case I thought it to be a very hard tip.

Water buffalo will get you the closest IMO.

Water buffalo. Schon tips are some of the hardest you'll ever find - like 87 or so.

Pressed WB. They use a few tricks to get them how they want them, but pressed WB are pretty close.

I think you are right on the money. Schon original tips are hard tips if my memory serves me right.......

Schon will send you one if you give them a call or they will install it for you if you send in your shaft. Also, I think Seyberts has them as well.
