Hi All,
I recently picked this cue up and have decided to let it go. It was in pretty bad shape before I bought it, and I've had Bryan Mordt (BCM Cues) refinish the butt, with the exception of the buttcap, which has "Schon" in the old cursive writing. I didn't have him change the buttcap, as I wanted to keep the logo intact. It does have some chipping around the bottom edge of the cap. He also cleaned up the shaft and sprayed the stub end with a clearcoat and put a new medium tip on. The cue weighs 18.6 oz. and has a 12.7mm shaft with a synthetic ferrule. It has six ivory inlays in the points and six good sized ivory rectangles in the butt with veneers.
I know very little about Schons. Is this something I should put on Ebay or should I try to sell it on this forum? Can any of you Schon guys (You know who you are
) give me any direction as far as value or model number?
Thanks in advance!
Steve
