Schon shows an aluminum bolt at 1.5" long, and two steel bolts one at 1.5" and the other at 2.5" long. The site says nothing about how much they weigh. The Manning site, (and some others I looked at shows bolts at 0.2 oz, 0.8 oz and 1.2 oz.
Does anyone know if Schon used a default size/weight bolt in their cues and if so what size/weight and material, steel aluminum it is?

Thanks

There is no "default" the one used depends on the cue weight ordered. Aluminum would be the lightest for sure, take the one you have and weight that. You can probably just head to a hardware store and measure/weight the metal rods they sell and then get an idea of the official bolt weight.

Or a less footwork way, they have a contact listing on the website https://schoncues.com/contact/

The Schon aluminum bolt is 1 1/2" and weighs .02 oz. The 2 1/2" steel bolt weighs 1 oz. I usually get the long bolts and just cut them down to get close to the weight I want.
