I have a custom Schrager cue from 1991, made by Bert himself. Cue is purpleheart with solid ebony points. The cue has my name in a plate in the butt and the date in the butt (all in ivory). Is this is a saleable cue (because it has my name and date in it)? I was told that a new owner could have the oval plates removed. Thoughts?

The personalization maybe hurts you a little as far as collectible value goes. It sounds like a great cue. I'd try Russ, "poolhustler" is his handle here at AZ. He's a great guy, knows Bert pretty well and has been known to buy a Schrager or 2 or 10. At the very least, he'd be able to give you an idea.
