Scooter Goodman - 2014 DCC

At least he's not an anonymous forum troll or a banned member posting with multiple identities, spewing out ugly words behind the protection of a computer screen. :p

Or a pool groupie that's is too afraid to face reality.

Or a pool groupie that's is too afraid to face reality.

I'm a pool groupie, a 60-year-old pool groupie.

The only reality I need to face is dealing with jack-offs on this forum. Silence really is golden sometimes, as well as lurking. AzBilliards just ain't what it used to be, thanks to people like you.

By the way.......I owned a carwash......and I have zero respect for Scooter as a human who would steal from hardworking car wash owners. Regardless of what you might think running a car wash is WORK and the profit isn't that great and if I saw I had been robbed I would want to shoot someone.

The guy is entertaining and will bet high with the money he has or with other people's money. But he isn't who I would ever want to be like nor show admiration for. And yes I would say this exact same thing to him if it came up. I don't know him personally and have never exchanged a single word. He was caught and did the time so that's done. I don't think he is necessarily a bad guy overall, I don't know him and many of us did stupid shit in our lives. If he regrets stealing then that would be awesome, if he simply regrets getting caught then that's not cool.

BTW - George Breedlove reported that Scooter lost a 40k set. Race to 3 for 20k - the other guy loses the first game and asks to double the bet - Scooter is giving up the 6 and the last four and ball in hand (I think) and it goes hill-hill and the guy makes some incredible combination to put the six in and wins the 40k. George said the spot was right.

Ahhh, the victim card. Knew it was just a matter of time. You keep giving passes to people who break the law just because they are poor ole pool players. Just like you did with Chohan. No one forces them to play pool. If it doesn't pay the bills legally, then get a job that does.

You got a lot of nerve, Pal. You label me a "groupie" and then come with this crap. Victim card? Naw. I'm used to it now. I just learn to duck when I'm getting hit in the mouth by jack-offs.

If it happens as often as you claim, then maybe the jack-offs aren't the problem.

Why don't you give me some more red rep, Sean? That's your next move, right? :)

Ah! So this is what this is all about? *One* time a good while ago where I thought you were over the top with something you wrote - one of the few times I ever did this, btw?

The red rep card. You're really rifling through your Community Chest insult deck this morning, aren't you?

That's ok. I'm not too proud to accept the "You just won a beauty contest, collect $100" card. I could use the money. :D

Reference keeps being made to tourneys funded by ill gotten gains. While I think it would be naïve to think it never happened, I can say I have never heard of a specific instance of it.

I also think such a thing would be equally vilified by the azb.

To hear scooters family is likely a small business adds to the self serving ignorance of his crimes. He should know the extent of investment business owners have and their dependence on earned income to keep their business, families and their employees proceeding as expected.

But of course the above perspective is different from his, so the logic obviously does not apply there.

It's common knowledge that a lot of the action money is money not earned through completely "legal" means - but it's not good etiquette to dwell on it.

Scooter got caught. If a high rolling dope dealer got caught we would talk about that. When people aren't caught then we don't delve into where they got their money. In the pool room you don't know who is a millionaire contractor and who is a dope dealer UNLESS they decide to share that with you. Pool rooms originated the don't ask-don't tell policy.

I don't care about talking about these things when someone got arrested. Scooter got caught and as such is fair game. Sorry but us working guys can't go out and rob businesses to fund our gambling habits.

When I lose $500 then that $500 came from spending 15 hours of our shop time and up to an hour of my sales time talking to a customer. In other words I worked for that money. I Scooter steals my $500 to gamble with then I don't even get the pleasure of spending my own money.

Please wipe yourself after posting, so as not to leave a stench. It's quite disgusting.

Lol, I love how you start attacking me because I disagree with you defending a thief. Get a life. Do you defend crackheads that steal to support their habits too?

lol, just had to be preserved.

By the way, I'm the reason for the reference to the DUI earlier. It's been discussed on here before that I've had a DUI. Doesn't compare to stealing money out of a carwash from someone.

Oh, and just to expand, this is not a one time deal and I'm still not sure why you do it EVERY SINGLE TIME, but you come to the defense of every shady pool player in every instance. You defended Tony Chohan for selling 61 pounds of pot, you defended Ron Wiseman for dumping, you've defended Cliff Joyner multiple times when he is a known dump artist and never pays anyone back, you've defended Kevin Trudea a countless number of times when he stole money from the elderly, etc....to fund those events, etc...etc...etc...And now you defend Scooter for stealing money from a carwash, lol.

Can anyone please back me up on this and call a spade a spade? You have officially gone off the reality rails with your lollerskates.

You didn't disagree with me. You labeled me a vulgar name for a female, a groupie. Your intention was to attack me with this label and then see where it led.

I'll bet you're hoping the pack mentality of bullying will soon follow thereafter.

I sure did. Right after you called me a troll. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
