Scorpion Cues = bad rep

Scorpion is a 3/8x14, right? Isn't this the same as Cuetec? I seen on Seyberts they have them in 3/8x14 Cuetec.

I don't agree with this in regards to playability. So much of a cues price is wrapped up in the name of the maker and the decoration, neither of which do anything for the playability. I have hit cheap cues that perform just as well as $1000 cues.

Initially, perhaps this is true. But over time, the higher quality cue will remain truer to its original form than, say, a $75 Scorpion cue. That's why you see listings for used Schons from the 80s that are still in prestine condition. It's not becuase they weren't used, it's because the quality is that good.

because I would want the cue to appear to be an all scorpion cue obvs. just getting rid of the predator logo on the shaft.

but does anyone know if the 313 will go on the scorpion butt?

You could get a predator sneaky pete and most people will think you've got a house cue.
