Scotch Double

Yesterday my wife and I played in our local VNEA Scotch tournament.
There are 10 teams in an open league, 2 didn't play.
They usually split the top and bottom teams and play off.
Our team was in the bottom half. We were the top point scorers and won the tourney and $300. We only had to play 3 teams so it wasn't that we had a big field to have to go thru, but it felt good anyway.

We have played together for the last 4 years and every year we see a marked improvement in our games and this was our year. Or rather, our half year. Its not over yet.

Congratulations to both on the win... I think its great you play together. My wife (to be) and I just purchased a house, added a pool table to the basement and have been playing together.

Only problem is she never listens!

way to go! i really like scotch doubles. i love the added pressure of having to setup your partner. its easy to let myself down, but i feel like i play better because i dont want to let my partner down even more.
