Anyone know of any good rooms to play pool near Scott AFB, IL? I know it's about a half hour from St Louis. It's also near areas like Shiloh, Belleville, and Fairview Heights IL (from my research). Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

I actually just moved back to Maryland from Shiloh (still own a house off of Greenmount Rd.) and my recommendations for rooms are as follows

Closest- The Break Café in Cahokia
Best tables- Cue and Cushion in Overland
Best chance for action- either Cue and Cushion or Side pockets in St. Charles

other places of note- The cue in Maplewood, Redbirds, and Saratoga Lanes

Are there any good rooms along the light rail through STL? I think it terminates at Scott AFB

Big Stix & Carol's Olde Bridge Inn

Check out Big Stix in Breeze. They just put in some new diamonds. Carol's in Caseyville is supposed to have new Diamonds put in very soon. I'm not sure if they are in yet.

You guys are killing me. I grew up near Caseyville in the 1940's-50's.
Many great memories of Pool playing from those days. Mostly at
home on our 5x10 Brunswick Kling and at Panarama Bowl, Belleville.
I'd very much like to take another trip down Memory Lane before I croak.

I hear Cue & Cushion is "the" place to play.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up... I would drive past Cahokia, and then another 30-45 minutes across the city to go play at C&C... its where it's at!

There's a "Hot Shots" in Ofallon, IL near the movie theater it has a few bar boxes in there its kinda like a "Hooters" with pool tables. I have been told that there's a bar in Ofallon with a diamond bar box but can't remember the name. The Break in Cohika has nice older gold crowns and valley bar tables. I haven't been there in about a year though.

JC the old manager at the Break and her husband have started work on a new place in Dupo, IL that should be open after the first of the year. I think the name will be 5th ave. Billiards or something close to that. I stopped by and took a look around and it looks like it will be a nice place with 1 9ft gold crown, 1 8ft gold crown, and 8-10 valley bar tables with a full bar and food. They are good people and should run a good place.
