Scott Frost was playing Jean Robert (Bobby) Bellande (the card player, Survivor participant) one-pocket a number of years ago getting 9-6 for $200 a game. Bobby didn't know who Scott was and was getting drilled. After Scott had robbed Bobby of his bankroll, Bobby came over to us to borrow some money so he could keep playing. He said "this guy doesn't know any one-pocket moves he just shooting at everything and he is going to start missing". We were all laughing and since no one was going to lend him money, someone finally told him he was playing one of the best one-pocket players in the world.

On a side note the friend of Scott's just talked to him and Scott is still in the hospital and was very groggy with nothing new to report regarding his condition.

They are if you find out the hard way -- as many do when they're first bitten -- that you're allergic to the black widow toxin.

I believe he contracted something while in the hospital. The thread, for some reason, is in the NPR Forum so you can read about it there.

It's the MRSA, not the bite, that has him in such bad shape right now. While it started out as a bite that got infected in Scott's case, a person could contract MRSA through other means, so one definitely doesn't need to be bitten by an insect to get it.

He had it before going to the hospital. He originally went, they told him he had MRSA, gave him some anti-biotics and sent him on his way. He actually came to the pool room on Saturday afternoon for a little while and told us what had happened. Now it sounds like he's been admitted to the hospital.

EDIT: I removed my rant since this has been moved back to the main forum. :)
