A couple of things:

Sylver Ochoa is one of the MOST composed players I have ever seen. He is more composed than Ralf Souquet. I honestly believe if he wasn't recovering from a cold he could have easily won this past weekend's tournament at Casper's Billiards in San Leon TX. Hopefully he is over that cold and will play up to his speed. Even with a cold he was playing JAM UP. lol

I also spent some time with Scott Frost in the commentary booth and I am VERY impressed with his knowledge of patterns of play at one pocket. That might sound like a silly statement but some people that play good one pocket aren't always able to articulate what other people might do, could do or will do. Scott can do all of that. He's not only talented at playing pool, he capable of telling you what's going on in his head (and even the heads of others) about the layout of the table and can tell you all of the pluses and minuses and moot points in between.

While I haven't seen Scott Frosts video where he talks about these various things, I have to believe that the video will contain great insights for one pocket players of all levels. I believe the video is called Power One Pocket or something like that. You can see more information about it by clicking here.

I agree with Joey A. This will be an epic match especially if Sylver is feeling better. I gotta tell ya though....Scott has battling a cold too. Seems like he is a little further along with it than Sylver.

We'll see.

BTW.....Joey A was awesome in the booth as usual.

Thanks for helping buddy, you made it more special than it already was.
