I was stranded in Kalamazoo with a day to kill and Scott not only recommended a great pool room, but also came and shot with me for over 2 hours. He is a nice guy and is extremly knowledgable. If anyone is looking for an A+ instructor that is willing to travel.....Scott is the man.

In all honesty Scott and Tim(Owner of Blackbird Billards) we very nice and I appreciate the hospitality and look forward to being stranded in Kalamazoo again someday.

Thanks,
Kevin

PW92174...I enjoyed playing with you today too! Good luck in your tournament back home this weekend! Blackbird Billiards is a real asset to SW Michigan, thanks to Tim White!

Prewarhero...I sure don't mean for it to be! I'm just a guy who loves to play pool, and share what I know with others! I'll be in Chicago tomorrow and again on Monday!

if you ever get down to central FL, you should stop in Wallys in Lakeland, you and the owner could put on an exibition, i think you know each other.(Leon Ledford)It would be nice to see some real straight pool played!

Thai restaurants love Scott too.
He eats ANYTHING. :P :)
That's it, I'm gonna make him eat duck egg embryo next.
Scott is a great asset to the sport. His lessons sink-in on thick-headed pupils kinda slow sometimes but he gets the point across.
His speed control and pendulum stroke "lessons" are worth the trouble in finding him.
I heard he can't cross the Utah border. Polygamy?

I don't really know Leon personally. He was just one of the better players in the 14.1 tournaments I played in, at Marie's Golden Cue in Chicago, when I was learning to play in the early 70's. I got spanked by him more than once! Leon, Wendall Weir, and Dallas West were the better players back then. Tom Spencer, Tom Karabotsos, Joe Gold and Larry Schwartz were also very good "up and coming" players then. Boy...that was a long time ago! As far as I know they're all still very strong players!
