Hello all

I am relatively new to AZ and must say I love the site and the tight knit community.

I had a lesson with BCA instructor Scott Lee a couple weeks ago. I wanted to wait a while, practice his routines, and watch the video he took of my lesson before posting my thoughts

I have been playing over 40 years on and off but consistently I'm the APA for the last two years. Scott identified a couple of problems with my setup and stroke. He instructs an SPF routine which really helped me to be more consistent. Of course, it's only been a coupleof weeks, but I have been practicing everyday and making a real effort to Stop Pause and Finish each stroke
I'd recommend him to anyone who is looking to really improve

As a person, he is very polte, professional and explains each process in detail

Thanks Scott

Dave

I second that notion he is a very good instructor to help you build the proper stroke with if you are serious about improving and saving yourself countless hours of frustration

and may I also add a VERY great value

Scott is a great SPF instructor. I'm enjoying playing better pool. SPF works.

Thanks Bill! It helps if you're a good student (which you were). A good instructor can only take you so far...the rest must be done by the student.
Looking forward to seeing you again when I am back in FL soon!

dvs, you made an excellent choice in working with Scott. Your game will improve if you practice what he has taught you.

Scott, how is Bark Lee?

Thanks Kaznj

I have been practicing the mother drills about an hour a days for a couple of weeks now, and definetly feel an improved stroke.

I also have watched the videos he produced with Randy, they are excellent reinforcement tools and also advanced knowledge. I am really enjoying learning the 2 and 3 rail systems.

Having watched the video Scott took of my lesson (almost 4 hours of video) twice by now; his points become even clearer.

I really can't say enough good thing about Scott, other than I would highly recommend him to anyone who really wants to imprve and is willing to invest the practice time.

Thanks again Scott

Thanks for the kind words Joel. Barklee is FINALLY beginning to settle down some, and grow out of the puppy stage. He's still a pistol, and needs a good run every day, to disperse that hyper energy! LOL

Danny...There is nothing that any student needs to do, to prepare for working with me. Some students prepare a list of questions, or things that they want to cover within the lesson. Always these things are addressed. Whenever you are ready, contact me and we'll arrange a date, time and place that works for both of us.

Hello all,

I plan on taking a few lessons with Mr. Lee sometime around spring. I have been doing my homework, and saw this as yet another opportunity for constructive research.

Any recommendations in regards to preparing for weekend of studying with this instructor?

This will be my first formal setting with a teacher and I would really enjoy being able to retain as much information as beneficially possible, of course, without having to slow Scott down by anything that I should have already done.

Thanks and regards.

Be well.

Eye Pattern

One of the top 5 things I've ever learned in this game.

Thanks again Scott

Going to SBE?? Maybe we can play a little 3Cushion. I might need a spot
lock although.

Tom...Me spot YOU in 3-C??? LMAO I am planning to attend the SBE, and I'd love to play you some 3-cushion. I'm thinking 15-5 ought to be about even.
