dumb question?

This might be a dumb question but how do you get the photos to come in like that? mine just show up as links when I attach them...

Not a dumb question at all. I think that when you insert MORE THAN ONE image, they show up as links. Try inserting just one photo and I think it will show up as an image in your post. I always resize the image just for posting on AZ. When I resize, I set the image width as 800 pixels and then save as a .jpg file that is no more than 90k in size. AZ has a 100k upper limit on the file size and to be safe, save your image as a file that is no larger than about 90k. If you go more than 800 pixels wide, some members of the forum, who have their screen size set at 800 by 600 pixels, will have to scroll horizontally to see the whole image. Hope that helps!:)

That makes total sense, thanks! I had to resize each picture to fit within the limits but wish they all showed up in a row... oh well!

They show as links when you attach more than one photo in one post. Better to make one post for each photo if you want them to be easier for readers to see.

Or else you can post them to flickr.com and then link to the photos from one post.

I struggle with that when I post pictures of cues. I personally would rather have to scroll and see more detailed/better pictures of the cues but I can see how some people who use really low resolutions and/or are on dial-up wouldn't care much for the pictures I post. I also forget that my home monitor is a 24" widescreen with a 1920x1200 resolution so I can see more on the screen than a lot of posters...lol!

I think the attitude in this pic may explain where that missing tooth went.
