A couple observations:
• The match ended at 4:35 am local time. Unless there was some extenuating circumstance of which I am unaware, this is absurdly late to be ending a tournament.
• Caputo broke and ran Game 9 of the semifinal match with Joe Keith to win the match 7-2. Unfortunately, in the alternating-break format, it should have been Keith breaking in Game 9. Perhaps they were all too tired to notice. Given the 6-2 score before that game, it probably had no effect on the match outcome, but who knows.
