really? It's a blank that timmy scruggs made and cory barnhart finish the rest of the cue...I think there are only 10?

I had no idea. I didn't know Tim Scruggs made blanks for other makers. Thank you for informing me, my best guess was a scruggs cue that was remade by Barnhart. If I came off as rude, that was not my intention. Was just wondering, so I asked the question.

Edit: That is a super fine cue as well. Anyone would be lucky to have that in their collection.

just to be clear, it was a cue that was in progress when mike cochran passed away and was never finished.. when tim retired, he gave a bunch of unfinished cues to Cory Barnhart.. they did not intentionally make blanks for anybody.. this is why its labeled scruggs by barhheart.. cory finished the cue and is paying respect to Tim and Mike by labeling it as such...

great cue!

What Chris said is absolutely correct. Cory was one of a very few cuemakers who were honored by Tim to finish what Mike Cochran had on-going in the shop at the time of his untimely passing.

Southwest cues finished 1 or 2 and there were a couple of other cuemakers who did so, but Cory Barnhart, being close to Tim & Mike, both in location and as close friends, was given the last few.

These "Scruggs by Barnhart" cues are only in the hands of 2-3 collectors, such as Brian (A1712) and Eric. They are pieces of history, and complete the final story of Cuemaking Legends...Tim Scruggs and Mike Cochran.
