Scruggs cues for sale!

Nick.. some advice... you are going to have to remove the paypal add 3% thing.. or ebay will yank your auction... i used to do it like that years ago.. but now they have had some rule changes and its now considered "trying to avoid ebay fees".. just to let you know.. they dont give you any chances to fix it either.. they will just pull it..

Stating in your Ebay auction that their is an extra charge for using PayPal may be veiwed as a no - no buy Ebay and they may pull your auction ( I speak from personal experience)

Thanks guys

If they pull it I will just keep it!!!!!!!!!!!
I did it once before with no trouble. With my last sale as a matter a fact. Maybe it has to be reported so lets see if anyone wants to report it I think you all could be right. My reserve will always be higher than prices offered here or with no reserve I will just stip the auction if I don't like what I see!! I am not a sell at any cost kind of guy. Sorry!
Also Panhdlce really wants the three pointer but oyu can PM a offer if you wish but Phil always has first crack!
Thanks
Nick

I once sold a 100-yr old pack of cigarettes on ebay and it got pulled because I didn't specifically say that they weren't intended to be smoked

What I found out later is that ebay doesn't check too much for that kind of thing, but if an a-hole who doesn't like you reports it, they will kill the auction. Lucky me - someone I once pissed off started working for ebay... :(

i had auctions pulled for saying check my other auctions for some other players cues.. they took that as keyword spamming when infact i meant POOL PLAYER cues...

i also had a tip tapper yanked one time because i mentioned a cue brand that it could be used on.. How else do you describe a tip tapper???? those jerks!!

The only one I have had pulled was for a Schon. I mentioned that I had some other Schons that I would be listing later and posted a pic of them. Guess they figured I was trying to bypass their fees.

Nick.. i just read your description.. thats exactly what i like to do when selling something thats high enough to where paypal fees would cut into making something.. if somebody is really interested in it, and you hint paypal could be taken.. sometimes the buyer will offer... :) i know i have offered a few sellers to pay the 3% because they said they couldnt not accept paypal.. hope it works out for you.. chris

Hay Chris

Selling cues for me and most is a just keep your head above water proposition. Breaking even is good enough and if I get $1400 I will be good and I actually had offered it to another AZer and he was going to give $1600 with a TS whitten case and even wanted to know where to send his money. So when I told him to wait a week and then I would sell it he changed his mind. His logic was I own 11 of them. Well maybe I am nuts but this cue for $1400 is a give away. So I just put it on ebay but I dought I make much on cues just ask my wife!!HA HA

Hi Nick,

I don't want to patronize you or anything, just letting you know it's getting very complicated to find out which cues you're actually selling here, with all the different pictures, links, assumed trades, different people chipping in and everything. Maybe it would be a good idea to start a new thread, imho.

Thanks Dave

Because Mike wants to make me another cue I would probably sell any of the cues in the picture. When a builder like Mike wants to do something like that well you just thank God for friends like that!
The ebay cue is the MOP inlayed cue!
I really think because the radial pin cue is so perfect that nothing short of $2,000 will ever get it! That is a 10% discount with no wait and yes I play with it! But it is still like new and the proceeds for that sale go into my New Cue fund --- Timi's pocket!! HAHA
I will probably list some more Scruggs ans Frey cues next week!
Then the confusion will be understandable and there will be another thread.
Thanks
Nick
