I got this cue from cleitonrocha about a month and a half ago. I tryed to get used to it but after using my schon for so many years I cant make the change, I love my schon to much. This cue is so clean, I cant call it new as I have used it for a month. This cue is 100% flawless, There is not a speck on it. The shaft looks like it has only been test hit, There is no blueing at all. This cue could pass for bran new. Every thing is 100% mint. I would love to just put it away and hold on to it as you all know scruggs cues are no longer being made, I need the cash for other projects.

I'm selling it for SOLD shipped in the U.S only (it's valued at $1,300)
Paypal as a gift or add 4% fee's, or postal money order is fine also.

Some pictures show more then one shaft ,(THIS CUE COMES WITH ONE SHAFT) THE ONLY CUE FOR SALE HERE IS THE ROSE WOOD SCRUGGS

Weight 19.2 oz
shaft is full 13.MM (ivory ferrule with red pad) one shaft
Everything is streight.
Not sure what tip it has, Looks like a Moori but not 100% sure.
Tip looks new, Very thick and full.

Only trade I will consider is a cue repair lathe, Please no PM's with cue trade offers they will not be replyed to.

Bob frey can make another shaft for $165 shipped? I'm pretty sure thats the price and people know that bob and timmy were partner for a long time.Bob # 14107477392

He's right about that...Bob made a shaft for a TS sneaky I had and it looked like the same shaft matched up side by side.
 
For this price, I would've already snatched this Scruggs up if it did NOT have a SS joint, I'm just not a fan of SS joints. Still a gorgeous Scruggs and I'm sure an awesome player. GLWS. Honestly can't believe it's lasted more than a day....

You guys are correct, Bob Frey is the man who worked close with Tim Scruggs and from what I understand Bob has Tim's taper and now makes perfect shafts for all scruggs cues. Not a bad price at all at $165 shipped.
Yes the SS joint is 5/16 x 14.
Nick is right this cue playes awesome, This is the first scruggs cue I have ever owned and played with, Hit a few balls with this cue and it's easy to understand why scruggs cues are popular and sought after. There is no production cue out there that can come close to the way scruggs cues hit and play. Really wish I could keep it but my cue repair business comes first as it makes me money, The only reason I am selling this cue is because I need to buy a new repair lathe for my shop...

I am not trying to knock anyone but IMO, I do not understand why one shaft is not good enough.


Based on what others are saying Bob Frey makes a great shaft for $165,

So anyone that likes this Scruggs, I would purchase the cue and if you want a second shaft get one built by Mr. Frey. I do not have the knowledge to value this cue but if I would take a guess, if this seller had a second shaft with it, it would probably be valued at $1465 or a little more. Since he does not have the second shaft there will be a loss of value but despite all that, he is giving out a great deal. Anyone would be nuts to not take this deal if they have ever hit with a Scruggs.

Patso44 your 100% correct in everything you said. To be honest I cant believe it has not sold yet for what I'm asking I'm giving it away.
But then again this is AZ Billiards and most people want to steel not buy.
I'm sure if I was asking $500 I would get PM's asking if I would accept $400
It wont break my heart if it does not sell, I honestly would hate to see it go it hits so dam good..

The Cocoa Cue hits so very clean and truthfully if I blindfolded you and asked what type joint it had after letting you hit with it you would only be guessing and probably guessing wrong.
I can't keep everything. When I buy something has to go. This Cue is sweet.

This is the best deal I have seen on AZ in a long time folks.. Rosewood Scruggs in this shape for $1050.00?? If my wife wasn't on me for some new furniture I would be all over this one.
