I have yet to see an Andy Gilbert where I play, but I'm real curious how they hit. My Scruggs is an old sneaky pete "wood-to-wood", but hits fantastic. There are some great Scruggs deals on the net right now - I would strongly consider this one if I hadn't already sated my cue feeding needs: http://www.thecuecorner.com/cuemakers/TimScruggs/003/TimScruggs003.htmcubswin said:I'd take a scruggs myself. Both of them make a great cue, but the scruggs is never going to lose any value. Andy's may or may not too early to tell.

None taken. It looked like a good deal to me, but I like the Titlist look and haven't seen many Scruggs cues in that price range.Snapshot9 said:No Offense, but that Scruggs is kind of a Plain Jane for $1,000.

Resale Value: Scruggs might get the edge if you are comparing relatively similar cues. Kind of depends on who you are trying to sell to.
Andy Gilbert has built a well deserved reputation for top notch cues. He is not as profilic as Tim Scruggs but his cues are every bit as good in terms of quality.
I have owned several cues from both and regret not still owning them.
