I have recently acquired this Scruggs shaft in a trade It's not perfect, is has some nicks in the ivory ferrule,near the tip, but it shoots really well and is not affected by the nicks, only in appearance.
The shaft measures 13mm at the base of the ferrule, does roll straight on and off of a cue
It seems to be pretty sound, I took it out and shot with it for a few days, pretty sweet.
It appears to have a pad below a newer tip, it's not a latered tip probably a triangle or so
